What You’ll Be Doing

• Shape regional and site mine planning across four operations, developing practical plans, schedules and a clear view of long-term reserves.
• Be the trusted technical resource for site engineers and operating teams, raising planning standards and leading through expertise and influence.
• Turn geological, survey, operational and cost data into safe, practical and economically sound mine designs and investment recommendations.
• Get out on site, build strong relationships and identify opportunities to improve performance alongside regional and operational leaders.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong surface mining experience, with proven ownership of mine planning and a broad grounding in mine engineering.
• A relevant engineering, mining, geology or technical degree, or equivalent proven industry experience.
• Practical knowledge of production, blasting, mine design and technical analysis, with the judgement to turn engineering principles into workable solutions.
• The confidence to influence stakeholders, communicate clearly and lead technical activity independently across multiple locations.
