This role is ideal for a project management professional with a proven track record representing healthcare owners on complex capital improvement programs, MEP infrastructure projects, facility expansions, renovations, and new construction projects within hospital, ambulatory care, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and life sciences environments.

The Healthcare Project Manager will serve as a trusted advisor and owner's representative, leading multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of project delivery. This individual will be responsible for managing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, stakeholder coordination, and risk management while ensuring successful outcomes for healthcare clients.

As part of STV's nationally recognized healthcare practice, you will have the opportunity to manage critical projects that improve patient care environments, advance clinical operations, and support the future growth of healthcare systems throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary owner's representative for healthcare capital and MEP infrastructure projects from planning through occupancy and closeout.
  • Lead project teams consisting of architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project execution across programming, budgeting, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, activation, move management, and closeout.
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, invoices, and financial performance indicators to support timely decision-making.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone logs, and deliverable trackers, escalating issues that may affect project objectives.
  • Oversee design development and construction activities to verify compliance with contractual requirements, healthcare regulations, operational standards, and quality expectations.
  • Facilitate meetings with client leadership, clinical users, facilities teams, design professionals, and construction partners.
  • Evaluate project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues impacting cost, schedule, quality, or operations.
  • Review and negotiate change orders, invoices, contractor pay applications, and consultant agreements.
  • Coordinate project communication and reporting for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support procurement activities, contractor selection processes, and bid evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare facility operational requirements, infection prevention protocols, interim life safety measures, and patient care considerations during construction.
  • Mentor junior project management staff and contribute to the development of project management best practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience supporting healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or institutional facility projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing capital projects valued at $10 million or greater.
  • Experience serving as an Owner's Representative, Program Manager, Construction Manager, or Project Manager within active healthcare environments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare facility planning, design, construction, commissioning, and activation processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting project budgets, cost control, schedule tracking, risk logs, and contract administration.
  • Experience delivering MEP infrastructure projects in occupied and operational healthcare environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with project management, scheduling, and construction management software platforms.
  • Ability to develop creative and practical solutions to complex project challenges while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CCM, PE, LEED AP, or other relevant professional certification.
  • Experience managing projects within:
