Job Title: Burn Table Operator Job Description
Join our dynamic machine shop team to fabricate various parts for pressure vessel manufacturing. Utilize a plasma burn table and rolling equipment, while also maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and performing preventative maintenance on the equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate and manage a plasma burn table and rolling equipment.
Fabricate parts for pressure vessel manufacturing.
Clean the shop of metal shavings.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Check tolerances using calipers and micrometers.
Utilize computer programs to transfer engineering diagrams to equipment.
Conduct quality inspections.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in operating or machining.
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Ability to check tolerances with micrometers and calipers.
Experience with manual and CNC machining.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with plasma tables and rolling equipment.
Familiarity with grinding equipment.
Understanding of computer-aided engineering diagrams.

Work Environment
The work environment is a climate-controlled metal fabrication shop. Employees work 50 hours per week during peak seasons, with training hours from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 6 am to 3:30 pm. Regular work hours are Monday to Thursday, 5:30 pm to 6 am, and Friday, 4:30 pm to 11:30 pm. There may be occasional Saturday shifts. Flexibility for family schedules is provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
